Cathy is a funny girl...after we got off the Pirates ride Cathy had to pick up a sword in the store and do a little playacting...I got to be the photographer...they wanted me to play but I have to draw the line somewhere...

So the main reason I wanted to go to CA was cuz of the kiddies dancing in Disneyland...the top picture is actually the 2nd day at Disneyland and the rest of the pictures were on the first day at CA adventure. Isn't she so darn cute??!! I feel bad that a couple of the pictures are kinda fuzzy... but I am not a professional...so I guess I didn't do too bad.

I guess I should have cropped the balding head out of this one...

CA trip-Dodger game

Saturday night we went to a Dodger game...so they won!!! I love baseball...and I think that maybe I should make a goal of going to all of the major league baseball stadiums. I have been to 4 so far!!

we were up at the top...of course the cheap seats...but they were right behind home plate...and it was a great view!

I actually got an action shot...the blur in the middle is the baseball going to home plate.

CA trip hike

We went on a trip to CA in June. I know it was months ago and I am way behind on the blog but I am determined to get caught up...so here we go!!! Saturday morning we went on a hike. I was starting to wonder if it was going to be worth it when at the end we finally got to this waterfall!! We started out by walking across the creek on the stones...and before long I was just walking through the water, cuz I was afraid I was going to be falling off the rocks anyway...and falling in and killing myself...much better to just go willingly!!

I guess this should have been at the beginning...but we actually took this picture at the end anyway...after the hike...we survived it!!!

Conference

I am sitting here at the computer listening to conference...because we don't have any TV reception...so this morning I looked through all 795 pictures I have taken on my new camera and have figured out what posts I am going to do. How long it will take me to get all of them onto the blog is the real question...but I am going to start and do my best!! If I could just do the posts all along it wouldn't be so hard...and maybe one of these days I will really get my act together!!! and next time not have to download nearly 800 pictures at a time!!

Hasn't conference been awesome so far?!! I love it!

Mia

This is my newest niece Mia. She is adorable!! I had to get this on my blog cuz I was talking to one of my sisters who doesn't live close enough to run visit and mom just isn't getting enough time to sit down and blog...don't worry sis I am taking care of it for you!!
of course you have to get the obligatory picture of you holding the new baby...here it is!!

then with a couple of the cousins. Everybody needed their new baby time, but we had to fight Konner for it!! He would have held her the hold time if we would have let him!!

crazy storm

So my parents had a little wind storm at their house Saturday night...you think it was windy where you were?? I don't think so!!! This barn was built in or around 1908...and today it is a thing of the past!!! My mom says that Amy was telling her some of the stuff we did in the barn... and my mom says that she had no idea that we did some of these things...like jumping from the loft down into piles of hay...that has definitely got to be my favorite! so the golf cart and tractor were so close...but were not hit by any of the flying debris...the garage was not so lucky...pieces of wood imbedded into the metal garage wall...broken lights inside the garage...

The end of an era...sad!!! also lots of limbs and branches broken all over the property...and a branch from this tree that was uprooted in the back of the house...broke a window over my parents kitchen table...mom was in the house at the time, heard the glass breaking, looked out the window from her bedroom and saw the tree going down...nobody was hurt at least nobody at their house was hurt...just a lot of fun cleanup in the days and weeks to come...

I was able to go up yesterday and see the damage...these pictures are from my mom's camera, we will see if I decide to add anymore pictures from the ones that I took...or if I will just let this do the job!!

Haircut

I know...it has been WAY too long since I have posted anything and you are all anxiously awaiting my blogs...so here is one and hopefully I will get myself going, I have a lot of things I can blog about that have happened in the last year or so that I haven't blogged about yet...and let's start with the haircut!
before and after pictures...so it was time to get my haircut...it has actually been time for a couple of months but I put it off a bit til it got a bit warmer...cold neck during the soccer games...not so fun!!! I know that is what the scarf is for and it will definitely be used tonight...anyway, I decided that I should take pictures so that everybody could see the differences since sometimes I wonder if people even notice when they don't say anything to me!!! so obviously the first 3 are the before pictures and the last 2 are the after pictures.

I had to take this one!!! I won't be able to do this hairstyle now for a while!!! but...

I absolutely love my new haircut!!! I think it is cute and I wonder why I always let my hair grow so long...and then I remember that I kinda like my hair long too...I guess I am just lazy... and so I don't get my hair cut as often as I should...but when I grow it as long as I do, I can send it off to locks for love and it might actually help to make a wig for somebody that loses their hair because of cancer or whatever...
