the view from the front of my parents house.
The next several shots are up High Creek. so the water would be High Crick...
I love the shots down the road with the trees growing on each side...kinda like you are going through a bridge...
the bridge at the Lions' property. That would be my mom walking over on the other side.
the moss on this tree trunk was pretty cool...I just had to take a couple of pictures of it!!
the trailhead sign...so does anybody want to go on a hike with me next year? We have talked about doing this hike but it hasn't happened yet...ok so the time several years ago when we tried it we went too early in the season and had to turn around because of the snow!
I tried to get mom to climb up on the rock so I could get her picture...but she wouldn't...
now the next several pictures are up the Cherry Creek Road. I got a great shot of Cherry Creek Peak with some fall colors lower and snow on the Peak...
Cherry Creek (Crick) Peak.
and then back home. The pictures are actually in reverse order, so the ones at the top of the post were taken at the end and these last couple were taken at the beginning of the drive. I know there are a ton of pictures...but they were all so pretty I didn't want to leave any out...it is too bad we couldn't have gone a couple of weeks ago the colors would probably have been more vibrant...but I wasn't up in Richmond a couple of weeks ago...so these will have to suffice. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!!
First of all what were you doing up so late? Second of all I don't say Crick...does that mean something? And really are you gonna ask me if I want to join you on a hike. Silly question. Just tell me the date! I love love love when you are in a canyon the trees on either side. Speaking of that I haven't spent enough time in any canyons this summer or fall. I miss running in N. Logan and Smithfield, beautiful canyons. Good pictures, Marc!
